Overview
Omaha 321 is a game that plays similar to Texas Hold’em. The object is to make the best possible five-card hand, using a combination of hole cards and five community cards. In this variant there are 3 flops, 2 turns and 1 river street.
Players are dealt four hole cards, and must make a five-card hand using exactly two hole cards and three community cards. This differs from Texas Hold’em, in which players get two hole cards, and can use any combination of hole cards and community cards to make the best five-card hand.
The best 5-card poker hand wins the pot.
How To Play
Each player is dealt four cards face down, starting with the player to the left of the dealer.
There is a round of betting where each player can fold, call, or raise. Betting starts left of the dealer or left of the big blind.
Community cards are dealt with betting rounds following each street. A "burn" card is dealt before each street.
Three 3-card streets (flop)
Two 1-card streets (turn)
One card street (river)
At showdown, players must use exactly 2 hole cards combined with one flop, one turn and the river to make their best 5 card poker hand. This creates 6 different possible 5-card community card boards.
Determining the Winner
Four hole cards are dealt to each player. Each makes their best five-card poker hand using exactly two hole cards and three community cards.
Aces can play high or low.
