Wild cards: N/A
Overview
A number of holes (typically 4) are played for each game of golf. Players try for a low score each of the holes.
How To Play
Each player receives 4 cards and places them face down in a grid. Players CANNOT look at the top row of cards.
Scoring is:
Kings = 0
Queen/Jack/Ten = 10
Threes to Nines = face value
Twos = -2
Ace = 1
Pairs in a column cancel and both = 0
Deck is placed face down with one card turned up.
Players in rotation may choose the face down card or the face up card and replace one of their cards.
The replaced card is discarded and becomes the next face up card.
Rotation continues until one player chooses not to take a card. Each remaining player gets one more turn before the hole is scored.
Determining the Winner
Each hole's total for each player is tracked for their total score.
The player with the lowest score at the end of round scoops the pot.
For each hole, the lowest score does not pay the pot.
Each loser pays the pot - one bet ($0.25) for each player ahead of them on the hole. If 6 players play, and the scores are 2,3,4,5,6,7, the player with 2 does not pay. The player with 3 pays .25. The player for 4 pays .50...
