Overview
Razz is 7-card stud poker where the worst hand wins. Players are dealt 7 cards over 5 streets.
How To Play
Each player is dealt two cards face down and one card face up starting with the player to the left of the dealer.
There is a round of betting where each player can fold, call, or raise. Betting starts by the player with the worst hand showing. This "bring in" bet is usually 1/2 of the limit bet. All other players must bet the limit amount. The "bring in" player has the option to complete the bet once the action returns to his position.
Optionally, the "bring in" bet can be called by subsequent players and not raised to the limit.
Each player is dealt another face up card followed by another round of betting. The best low hand showing will start the betting each subsequent round. This is repeated 4 additional times. The cards dealt as the last iteration will be face down. Players end up with 2 down cards, 4 up cards and 1 down card.
Determining the Winner
Each makes their worst five-card poker hand using any of their 5 cards. Flushes and straights will count against the player.
Aces play low.
